The art of creation is a wonderful thing. There is no greater joy for me than to have someone connect with my art. I love the interaction that can be had with another person because of art. Capturing a moment in time that may not happen again is magical, all from the use of paint and a blank canvas. Color and brushstrokes can further make each painting unique to that moment. I never tire of looking at nature's wonders, and I never tire of painting. For me, every painting is an emotional journey.
I was born and raised in a suburb outside of Buffalo, NY. My parents settled there while my dad played football for the Buffalo Bills. As a child, we traveled every summer to the North Carolina beaches. I fell in love with the Carolina coastline. As an adult, I have brought my own children to visit BHI for family gatherings for over 20 years.
I have a BFA from the University of Connecticut. I am a member of the Western New York Artists Group, Ontario County Arts Council, and am a juried member of the Roycroft Arts&Craftsmen Guild. I maintain an art studio in Orchard Park, and am represented by Rider Frame&Gallery, and Off Main Gallery.
